My research sits at the intersection of environmental modeling, and computer science, with a focus on the development and application of inteligent algorithms to address challenges in water resources management and hydroclimate modeling. I have worked on the development of explainable machine learning models for anomaly detection and forecasting in water quality and hydrological time series, as well as the proposal of functional data analysis methods robust to unknown data distributions and outliers for environmental applications.
I have a background in data science, and environmental engineering.
