Xurxo Rigueira is an Ph.D. Candidate in the Computer Science at the University of Vigo and a Visiting Researcher at Arizona State University. He previously earned an M.S. in Mining Engineering and a B.S. in Mining and Energy Engineering from the University of Vigo. His research research focuses on the intersection of AI and environmental modeling, with a particular emphassis on the development and application of machine learning and deep learning models for water resources management and hydroclimate modeling. His work has been published in several confereces and journals including Environmental Modelling & Software, Science of the Total Environment, and Water.
